I bought the tour pak used and a friend painted it for me, he did a good job but it is not factory paint.

The lids of the saddle bags are a little scuffed up but not bad, I tried to show that in one of the pictures. There is one spot on the fairing that looks like a bug or something hit and ran off to the edge of the fairing and I can't get it off the paint. It is behind the right side running light, I tried to get a picture of it but it did not come out very good. Comes with 2 windshields one Klock werks 9 inch and a taller 1 from long ride shields. Ive had my 2010 ybr for about 8 months and never really knew what to do with it regarding tweaks etc. Having stumbled upon this thread though has inspired me a great deal and just went on a massive shopping spree for my bike might take pics if people are interested. Anyway thank you for taking the time to upload all these brilliant photos and descriptions!Oh it was quite ironic as every complaint you mentioned about the bike on the first page was practically word for word what mine were lolYou must be logged in to rate postsAlpha-9This post is not being displayed.Alpha-9Super SpammerJoined: 19 Jan 2012Karma:Posted: 16:46 - 02 May 2012 Post subject.

Hierarchical datagridviewbuttoncolumn. Make sure to drill the holes in the renthals, if you file the pegs down on the controls it'll give nothing but shit with em slipping out of position.

Proper pita doing it, but drilling a 1mm pilot hole makes it a shitload easier.Getting bar ends is a right shit too, especially if you want heavy ones. Worth doing though. Drilled the holes in the handle bars and that went fine, bar ends is a different story though so don't have any ATM tyres are getting put on tomoz professionally as I don't have the stuff to put them on myself did the exhaust and sprocket today though. I didn't have to modify any fitting on the sprocket at all which surprised meYou must be logged in to rate postsIainThis post is not being displayed because the poster is banned. Do a bolt up in a drill, screw the bar end insert onto it, spin the drill up and squish the bar end onto a brick, or a rock of some sort from the garden and it'll grind down to the right size - look back in the thread and you'll see how much mine had to be machined down by!!Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.Riding:, Driving:You must be logged in to rate postsAlpha-9This post is not being displayed.Alpha-9Super SpammerJoined: 19 Jan 2012Karma:Posted: 16:50 - 09 Jun 2012 Post subject. Now this is a quality write up, great help for those not so mechanically minded, photos are good too. Its a refreshing change to see someone look after something rather than chaving it up.I too have a YBR 125, but mine is an '06 model with the older 35w headlight bulb which I find rather poor on the unlit roads of North Yorks!

Has anyone done the conversion to the H4 type? Just after a few tips, as I'm looking to do this myself. You must be logged in to rate postssmarjoramThis post is not being displayed.smarjoramBorekit BruiserJoined: 13 Jul 2012Karma:Posted: 23:52 - 13 Aug 2012 Post subject. Thanks for all this info on the ybr, great thread. I've got a couple of issues with mine at the moment.I get quite a lot of chatter from the chain or something else when I pull away in first, it only seems to be when the engine is hot though. Also in the last couple of days the bike has stuttered when I've been trying to accelerate quickly up to speed (think i was in 4th both times doing all my changes between 8-9k rpm), it feels like the bike looses power for a second, then it's back on - bit scary when I'm not expecting it and the bike has a bit of a twitch. It's a 2011 ybr with a good few miles on it - 11K+.

Still got the warranty so I'm going to head back to dealer soon and let them know the issues, anyone know what the problem might be till then?Think someone else describing a similar chatter problem solved it changing or lubing the clutch cable so I'll try that first. It does the chatter when its on the centre stand too so i can get a video up tomorrow to show what's happening.Only had the bike a few weeks and I'm new to the mechanics side of things so I don't really know the bike inside out yet and what job each part does in order to identify problems.

I have the haynes manual which is helping so I guess I should just work through the routine service/maintenance, valves clearances, spark plug, air filter and so on.I've checked the oil and it looks clean and full, also the chain tension doesn't seem to be way out but I'll double check that measurement tomorrow to be sure.Kind of want to pull the whole thing to bits and rebuild it, its what I've always done with push bikes, always felt a bit uneasy riding something properly till i knew and inspected every single little bit of it, bit different with a motorbike though I guess! I Don't have a garage to do the work in either, only a car park outside Now that I have a bike worth looking after my brain is melting with how it all works and there's a million more bits than a mountain bike to learn about.MBK Booster NG '98, YBR 125 '11You must be logged in to rate postsUncle MeatThis post is not being displayed.Uncle MeatL Plate WarriorJoined: 22 Aug 2012Karma:Posted: 00:50 - 22 Aug 2012 Post subject. Looked at the flat bars, but when i got on the bike and put my hands in roughly the same position it diddnt feel right at all. Wanted a slight drop, but not too much!Sweep on all the other road bars is higher too.i get the feeling if they'd been named ROAD MEDIUM LOW then there'd be no problemDefinately a cringeworthy name.Although, that bar pad actually spaces out enough that i can clamp my satnav mount to something - so it does have its useshi Iain, looking at ordering some of the renthals for my ybr.
